About the Famous Paps of Balboa Park

It all started over 20 years ago when a few pap owners gathered for a playdate. They started something special that came to be known as Papillon Picnic Club of Southern California. Over the decades hundreds of members have been part of this special experience. Today, this original club hosts a calendar of walks across San Diego. Most famously in Balboa Park, where parkgoers can catch a glimpse of 20 Papillons parading down El Prado! Tourists and locals stop to take photos with the dogs and revel in their splendor.

Papillon Social Club SD participates in walks in addition to organizing social activities.
